I’ll try to post a few pics this week while we are on the road. I guess I will have to settle for the exercise bike at the hotel. Two weeks until the MS Ride. Not a good time to miss a week of riding.
I finally put the lights on my bike. I’ve had them for 3 months. It was really nice to head out as the sun was going down. I have a few adjustments to make, but they seemed to work well. The kids stayed at home this time and I did my 8 mile route to the marina and back in less tha 35 minutes. It looks like this will be the last ride for a few days. I expect Hanna to bring rain this weekend and little more. The tread mill have to do. I can’t skip many days with the MS Ride in 3 weeks.
It is Sunday night. It has been over six weeks since I posted my very optimistic goals for weight loss. I have only covered 179 miles in the saddle and dropped only six pounds. With only four weeks between me and Rock Hill, I do not believe that my 200 lb weight goal will be achieved. There is always the wishful thought that the fat is really melting away and massive amounts of muscle are taking its place. Hey, it could happen. I have covered most of these miles with the little ones in tow. That has to count for someting. I am not discouraged. I will survive 2008 Bike MS. If you are intrested in the route, it is posted on MapMyRide.com.
Check us out. This was really cool there was an article about the upcoming Bike MS event in the paper.

I had a really great day. The Sun News is running an article on the 2008 Bike MS Ride. I was one of three riders from Horry and Georgetown counties choosen to do interviews. We should hit the local papers on Wednesday, July 30th.
